Amenities include: a rooftop observatory, a two-level Owners Club with a wine and spirits lounge with private cellar, private dining room, business lounge, and lounge bar. There is also a wellness club with Technogym-equipped gymnasium, a juice bar, male and female spas with steam and sauna rooms, and a beauty suite. How are kitchens designed and what appliances are included?
Kitchens are designed by Antonio Citterio and feature Italian cabinetry by Vaselli or Arclinea. They come with Italian marble countertops and limestone backsplashes. Each kitchen is equipped with a fully-integrated Gaggenau appliance package, including a paneled refrigerator and freezer, wine refrigerator, convection oven, and steam combination oven. The Residences at 1428 Brickell offer a limited collection of 195 exclusive homes, including 2, 3, and 4-bedroom residences, as well as multi-story penthouses. Key features include: private elevator foyers, expansive great rooms and bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms with dual private water closets, Antonio Citterio-designed closets, Arclinea and Vaselli kitchens with Gaggenau appliances, large east-facing terraces with summer kitchens and 11-foot or 12-foot ceiling heights. Many residences feature floor-to-ceiling glass, independent service entrances and offer views of Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Select residences include staff quarters, dens, and multiple terraces. The two-story residences are notable for their sculptural staircases designed by Antonio Citterio.
Tell me about sustainability
The development emphasizes sustainability with a 20,000 square foot "Solar Backbone" consisting of 500 photovoltaic-integrated windows along the west-facing facade, making it the world’s first solar-powered residential high-rise. This system generates up to 170 megawatt hours of clean energy per year, eliminating approximately 4,700 tons of CO2 emissions and the equivalent of 3,000 barrels of oil. Furthermore, the design incorporates landscaping to mitigate sea level rise.

The property is also close to the waterfront, ensuring protected Biscayne Bay views in perpetuity, due to building height restrictions. The location provides easy access to I95, allowing for quick travel within Miami and its surroundings. The base of the building is a botanical garden.

The project is spearheaded by Ytech as the developer, with the design and architecture led by Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (ACPV). Arquitectonica is the architect, and ArquitectonicaGEO handles landscape architecture. Interior elements include Arclinea and Vaselli kitchen cabinetry, Gaggenau appliances, Rimadesio glass enclosures, Technogym fitness equipment, and natural stone from Antolini, Salvatori, and Pibamarmi.
